Terms of Service

01Acceptance of terms

By installing BinTech from the Shopify App Store, you agree to these terms. If you are using BinTech on behalf of a business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that business to this agreement.

02Description of service

BinTech provides a digital interface to subdivide your Shopify inventory into physical bin locations. We provide the tools for mapping, picking, and counting; you are responsible for the physical organization and accuracy of your warehouse.

03Account eligibility

To use BinTech, you must be an active Shopify merchant in good standing and at least 18 years of age.

04Billing, trial, and refunds

  • 14-day free trial: each shop gets one 14-day trial on its first paid subscription. Switching plans keeps any remaining trial time, but later paid subscriptions do not start a new trial.
  • Shopify billing: all payments are processed through the Shopify Billing API.
  • Refunds: we follow Shopify's standard refund policies. If you have a billing dispute, contact us within 30 days.

05Acceptable use

Don't be a bad actor. You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer or "scrape" the BinTech application.
  • Use BinTech for any illegal activity.
  • Attempt to bypass Shopify's billing or security systems.

06Intellectual property

  • Your data: you own your bin names, product assignments, and warehouse configurations.
  • Our software: BinTech owns the software, code, logos, and design. We grant you a limited license to use the app as long as you have an active subscription.

07Service availability

We aim for maximum uptime, but we provide the service on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not offer a formal Service Level Agreement (SLA) at this time, though we work hard to ensure the app is ready when your shift starts.

08Third-party dependencies

BinTech relies on Shopify's API. If Shopify is down, BinTech may be unable to sync inventory or orders. We are not responsible for outages caused by third-party platforms.

09Confidentiality

We will protect your store data and will not share your inventory levels or bin configurations with any third parties except as required to run the service.

10Disclaimers

Use BinTech at your own risk. We are not responsible for physical inventory variances, missed shipments, or warehouse staff errors resulting from the use of the app.

11Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, BinTech's total liability for any claim is limited to the total amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim. We are not liable for lost profits or indirect damages.

12Indemnification

You agree to hold BinTech harmless from any legal claims arising from your use of the app, your warehouse operations, or your violation of these terms.

13Termination

  • By you: uninstall the app at any time to cancel your subscription.
  • By us: we may terminate your access if you violate these terms or fail to pay your Shopify fees.

14Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Any disputes will be resolved through informal negotiation first, followed by binding arbitration if necessary.

15Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via email or a notice inside the app dashboard.
